Water pours down and seeps into my raggedy old shoes.
I am fighting the wind and bitter cold I am afraid I may loose
On this dark, wet, night I trudge through the storm
Hoping to get back home where it is nice and warm
I was such a fool to come and look
But the idea of finding what was mine is all it took
Now I stand here in the rain contemplating to go or to turn back
But it is now movement that I lack
Tears stream down my face
I fall to my knees wishing for someone's warm embrace
Here is where I will stay until the very end
Here is where my heart will never mend
THE END
