Forgiving Not Forgeting
There's this girl
Who did all the right things
Well so she thought
But when she truly looked she saw what she really was
A lie.
A lie to the random people around her
A lie to her friends, To her family
A lie to all of those who ONCE truly cared.
She realized how much she messed up trying to do what FELT right and what IS right at the same time...
She messed up and lost a friend, a loved one, a crush, all together.
She messed up
And now she's stuck with no other option than to move on
He doesn't care anymore and it's all because of her OWN words.
She hates herself for hurting him she feels like she just ripped her own heart out with three simple nasty words "self centered jerk"
She was sad and at a low point he said she was only like a sister so her hate and anger all ended up on him and know she is sorry but she knows he doesn't care and just wants to forgive and forget...
She knows that's probably best
And
So
Because she wishes nothing but the best for him. She packs all the memories of being in his arms and laughing and goofing... of being cared for
All in a box and locks it and throws it into the very deepest darkest part of her brain.
But
She leaves the bad so that she may ALWAYS remember the pain she caused and the pain she feels
There's this girl who
Stood and wiped her tears because she really did love him and she
Just.
Got.
Mad.
And.
Didn't.
Think.
Things.
Through.
But she knew what she needed to do
She took a deep breath closed her eyes and whisper
"Goodbye."

The backround to this whole thing was that, a guy that a girl was best friends with became mad because she had so much drama in her life and she was so close to him she let her emotions fall onto his plate, and didn't realize how much she truly hurt him. His last three words were, "Self- centered Jerk."
