Goodbye
Goodbye, fly high.
I love you, we all do.
But why did you have to go so soon?
Why did you have to go and fly above the moon?
I miss you, you know.
Your friend, she tied ribbons all over our
neighborhood for you.
They were your favorite color: blue.
I saw you only four days ago.
To hear the news was a big blow.
My heart has broken,
to hear the words spoken.
I never thought,
that someone like you,
being so happy like you do,
could go so suddenly and without warning
like this.
Now, we are all mourning.
It's sad to think,
you'll never open your eyes and blink.
You'll never walk, you'll never talk.
You'll never ride your bike,
never go on a hike.
You won't wake,
no matter how hard I shake.
You won't hear my cries,
you won't hear my lies.
"I'm okay," I'll say,
But suicide will always be
a tender subject for me.
