Lately, I’ve been having this dream
There’s so much noise
Static, competing for attention
People saying what’s in & out
Who's cool and who’s not
It’s all getting so loud I can’t even think
I just want to wake up
But then I see you
I see you across the hall leaning against your locker
In the sweatshirt that you love so much
And then you see me & you smile
Smile and all the noise goes away
And then all I hear is your voice call out my name
And suddenly I don’t want to leave
