Time's Passing
It's midnight and I'm feeling so alone
Thinking I might never find a home
I'ts one am and I'm feeling sort of empty
Wondering how it would have been if she'd just kept me
I'ts two am I'm feeling a little drunk
Asking myself how I got into this funk
I'ts three am and I'm guessing I'm high
Seeing as my fingers are grazing the night sky
I'ts four am and I'm craving cuz I'm hungry
Considering if someone will ever love me
I'ts five am and I'm just a bit drowsy
Lusting for dreams to surround me
I'ts six am and I see the sun rising
Destesting its existence, I'm realizing
It's seven am and I'm looking quite green
A face as ugly as this, I've never really seen
I'ts eight am and I'm knowing I'm a mess
A fact I try not to confess
I'ts nine am and I'm tuning it all out
Don't want to see what the world is about
It's eleven pm and I'm back here again
Lying in bed filling up with my pain.
