Always Counting

I know I'm
Supposed to
Make the days
Count not to
Count the the days,
But how can
You not count
'em.
When you're in
The situation I am,
It's very hard not to.
It's always the same s***
just a different day.
I'm consistently
Looking for someone
Who cares
But everyone's
Saying they don't
Exist in this
Corrupt world;
At first I don't
Believe them then
But now it
Seeps in,
They don't exist.
I haven't found
This person
And I probably never will.
I just need to remember
That life will give
Me something to
Work with, eventually,
And I can finally
Quit counting.
