God's Mouth
This cave
Of distant memories
And fuzzy daydreams
Harbors an overpowering sense of calm.
I take a drag
Of the same
Sweetened cigarette
That’s been burning for hours,
It's smoke
Emitting the tart scent of raspberry’s tears
And warm vanilla milk.
But I don’t feel quite like putting it out
Just yet;
It’s a comfort.
The sun is setting
Casting shades of violent oranges
And soft pinks
Upon the damp stone walls
Of this strange place
That feels like heaven.
