Framed by the glow of infinite stars
In cycles of violent births and deaths
I stood transfixed under the night sky
Lost in a moment of transcendental wonder
Fusion factories of hydrogen and helium
Burning for millenia
On the fuel that runs
On the inevitable mortality of time
And even these giants collapse under their own weight
Exploding in an epic display of sacrifice
To shower the universe
With the gift of life
