Trees are like feelings
Feelings are like trees
With chains sealing it
Where each feeling is balled up and locked away
in the deepest part of the roots.
Where each branch reaches out for help
Only to be broken and stomped on
And with every broken branch
Comes a broken heart
With a stabbing pain
In the core of the tree.
And one day,
It hopes to escape the chains
That bounds itself
Through the holes that were dug
On its outer appearance.
