My role model
November 15, 2018
I followed her
The way she moved
the way she took her steps.
I chased her eyes
brown and gold
I tried to hold their posture.
Forward looking
Eyes straight ahead.
I yearn to be just like her
To be as compassionate
To be as forgiving
To be strong in her ways.
But instead I grew up
And learned to be one
With her influential traits.
