One solider
It had taken a life and flown through the air
Traveling supersonic
It was made to do this
It was made to fly
It was made to penetrate the sky
It had taken a life
And had done its job
And would do it again
With its glossy red shine
This bullet was minted, punched and stamped, cleaned and beveled.
Stood with it, brothers and sisters. And had done its job.
This bullet is not a toy.
Is not a game.
And should be respected every time.
Its counterpart is useless without him.
The counterpart could not have taken the life.
But is all in the decision of something greater.
Something so simple.
Yes the bullet and counterpart took the life
but who really made
the compromise.
