It touches me, like on old lover would.

Comfortable, but that is all.

It does not kiss me softly like my mistress,

But it remains around, always there to support me

It is not intoxicating like my paramour

But it somehow loves me when I return

And I shall know its love,

And I shall cherish it’s warm embrace.

It is the hug of no other,

It grabs you and it grips you

until you can no longer want to leave,

But stay, stay in it’s clutch, until you join the warmth

This was one of my first finalized poems, from my english class.
