Poison
It runs through my veins,
And I can feel it destroying me,
Slowly,
In order for me to endure the pain,
I wish to alleviate it,
Rather, I wish to heal completely,
But once the bottle is placed in front of me,
The memories begin to play,
And I inhale the lethal drink that lies before me,
A threatening dose of loneliness,
Mixed with misery and sorrow,
With a touch of suicidal thoughts,
And most importantly, a malignant amount of tears,
You are my only possible antidote, my love,
But I do not believe that I can burden you with more responsibilities,
Perhaps drinking the poison is the ideal choice,
For at least it shall relieve you of your responsibilities
