Two
The men walked in, they looked
They saw the one they were looking for
They signed the papers
They meet the kid
The one comes
He says, “I want my other”
The court shook them to their core
When they stepped through the double doors
They were horrified
They thought they would lose her forever
They didn’t
They were excited to raise her
They loved her till the end of time
They cherished her
Being
Seeing
Dreaming
Loving
And they loved her
She was the angel to their nightmare
The salvation in the storm
And they loved her for that too
