breathe

breathe.
they tell me to just breathe
but i cannot breathe when it feels like i am drowning
darkness.
all i see is darkness
in the middle of the day when the sun is shining
overwhelmed.
i bottle everything up
until it is too much to handle simple tasks
numb.
my body has no feeling
even though this is happening because i felt everything
depression.
limiting every action i make
like an invisible cage surrounding my entire being
