Love
I see you so beautiful standing there
So naive and completely unaware
Like a child playing outside on a snowy day
But the only thought in your mind is how it’s only going to melt away
Your eyes shimmer with sorrow and despair
Thinking no one can help you, can’t you see I’m right there!
A helpless romantic, you feel the darkness imposing
You having to keep fighting to stop it from closing
To run or to fight to win over pain
I’m pretty good at running, but fighting I’ll train
So no matter what you try to do to prevail
I’ll always be there to protect and love you without fail
