Dream Reality
We were told as kids
To have dreams
That nothing was impossible
That if we worked hard
It would be possible
That hard work
Would help us achieve it
We were the kids with starry eyes
That had so much life
And as we grew older
We were hit with reality
The sad truth was that
You could work as hard as you wanted to
But other things would be needed
And even then
It wouldn’t be a for sure that you would be able to
By then our eyes became dull
And we lost all the life
That we once had
