A Peaceful Day

He sat on a gray couch with a quilt over him
His cat lays on his legs
His dog snuggles beside him
He has a table beside him
On it a book
He sips on some tea
A gentle mint green wall behind him
Birchwood flooring
So peaceful, so calm
Piano music plays ever so quietly
Such a wonderful moment
Bubbled in memories
You could have sworn
Looking back you could see
All the bubbles
The light trails
And the subtle sparkle
Of a peaceful day
