Shoulder to Cry On
I have come to know the rain
The substance the sky cries
Drowning the cracks in the path
Seeping its way down the walls
Silencing the loudest laugh
No one seems to notice the liquid
No one feels the pilling
The window view has its ups
I experience the falling down
Surly the storm cannot be malicious
Thunderous shrieks calm my heartbeat
Lightning shreds my deep-thoughts
Healing waters caress my mind
The heavier the storm, the lighter I feel
When the sun comes out, the storm doesn’t go away
