My Hero
Mama, you will always be my hero
You have taught me everything I know
You are always there for me
You have helped me learn and grow
I don’t know how you put up with me
And working with kids every week
After coming home exhausted
You still have enough energy
I know we may fight and argue sometimes
And those days are always miserable
But even through these tough times
My love for you is always unconditional
Mama, I will always love you
I love you so much, you have no clue
Know that you aren’t just my mother
But my hero too.

This poem is dedicated to my mother and I wrote this for her specifically for Mother's Day. I also believe this is one of the best poems I have written so far.
