I Am Not Human
It’s just a ball on a stem
Nothing really special to it.
But you say it grants wishes?
Now so simple yet pure magic,
Delicate in every which way.
Torn from its home of green
White fluff laying in utter peace,
Another asks for just one wish.
Just one wish so it seems,
Then another for happiness
And another for stability.
Doing everything in its power to make it happen
Until nothing but a stem is left
A stub on a stem, still in utter peace
Laying on the concrete
I am a dandelion.
