Ode To My Pads
Made with leather, stretched and bruised
Bruised with pucks and damaged with ice
With two of them on my legs and one on each hand
Once for catching with mesh and netting
And the other with foam that can handle all you know
And the biggest pieces of all that stand out from them all
Are the pads on my legs with colors of cardinals in the snow
Without my pads my job can be done
And without my pads my life would hardly be any fun

This poem is about my pads that I use when I play Hockey.
