Not an ordinary damsel in distress
Knives stabbed the heart
But all that poured was darkness,
For there was no love remaining,
Her sky was now starless
Not an ordinary damsel in distress,
Not a fool with irrational thoughts,
But a woman who suppressed
And by society was she oppressed,
She never caught even a glimpse of light,
And it was only because of a lonely heart,
“Do not fear, I love you. I am here, and here to stay” were the only words she needed to hear,
Oh lord, was it too much to ask?
Her emotions were overwhelming for society,
And so,
With the bullseye set at the center of her heart, they released the fireball
And she was burned to ashes,
But as she finally left,
She was in peace,
For her last words were,
“At least I shall have to endure society no longer”
