The Mall
Walking through the double doors. Many people walking in out of stores. Busy Saturday morning.
The sun out side was beating down on all of us. there was a little breeze and bright blue skies.
Foot steps coming from all directions. Low mummers, babies crying, and people laughing all around.
Why are the babies crying? Why is it so hot? Do I have enough money to get what I need?
Anxious, rushed with feelings of confusion, and at some points I was calm.
It was time to leave and there were many people walking in and out of the double doors

This piece was made in the moment of being at the public mall in my town. It was busy but very inspiring to write about. My teacher suggested in class to create a 6 stanza poem about something that happend over the weekend and my mind immediatly reverted to the mall.
