We once lived a good life
We were at the top of the food chain
We had nothing to fear and everything to look forward to
But then tragedy struck, and our era was through
The biggest animal to ever walk on earth gone in an instant
We are an important piece of history
People today are fascinated by our existence
Our legend lives on even today
Gone but never forgotten
