My Time

It’s not quite light
I like this time
It’s my time
The time when I am the most at peace
before the hustle and bustle of the day begins
And the sun has not quite peaked over the mountains
It is still quite
I sit and watch as the sun creeps up and its rays bathe my face
It is a new, beautiful, and promising day
