I am Broken
I love you
and you hurt me.
You said we’d be happy together,
but you only break me.
Is she prettier than I?
Better than I?
Is it because I’m blind?
Do you think I don’t know what you’re doing?
I hear everything,
and yet I still give you my love.
I hear the volcano rumbling,
trouble is coming.
You come to me,
asking for a way out with her.
Why do I tell you the way?
Why do I still care?
Maybe it’s because I still love you,
and even still you only break me.
