Nothing Into something
His body,
A torch.
Thriving off heat,
I struggled to breathe.
An empty frame
That holds nothing
but broken glass.
I cut myself thinking,
We could be something
His eyes,
A telescope
I looked into-
Searching for stars
in the midst of darkness.
I lost myself thinking,
That i’d find something
His soul
A sponge.
Soaking up my wishes
I found nothing
By looking for something.
