Legend of The rose
There once was a
splendid,
magnicficent
flower
a rich complex
of darker and
lighter shades
of blood red
It was said
to be a
devil;
a demon
in an angel
disguise
Young
confident
bashful
men
would clumsily
shove these
disgraceful flowers
into a young
maiden's open
hands
expressing their
undying
emotion and
in return
receive
the woman
of their dreams
and hopes
that they're
meant to be
But the
flower
was a curse
a spell
cast upon
the young couples
They were doomed
the day
they eloped
and flew away
to God-knows-where
Passionate love
brought
children
through difficulty
The flower's curse
wove its way
through
families
breaking
marriages
piling used tissuses
of teardrops
in a corner
But
with it
the flower
brought
joy and happiness
pure beauty
drawing
out its
true pure
beauty
The flower
was seen
to bring hardships,
lust, pride,
but also
joy, beauty,
happiness,
and most of all
love
Love that
was beautiful
though
not perfect
That had
a heroic side
and evil defensive
skills
but
always showed
that it
would be there
until death
do them
part
This is what
the true
meaning
behind
the flower
in which we call
a
rose
The small,
sharp thorns
is the
defensive skill
while the blossoming bud
of the rose
is the true
beauty
that shines within
and gives
the smple,
short,
sweet,
yet
powerful messages
I love you
and
'Til death do
us part
This is
the legend
of the rose

Thank you again for reading this. I came up with this idea of a poem like that in a split second once again. I wanted to write the true meaning behind the rose and what it meant so that you would have a clearer understanding behind a rose when a guy/girl gave one to you if you didn't understand what one meant and it's okay if you didn't don't be ashamed there's a lot of things that I could tell you that I personally didn't know myself. So I hope that you once again enjoy and understanding the meaning behind the scences. Love you guys so much and have a wonderful day.
