Your eyes
Kind of like
the light from street lamps catching soft snow when I walk to my car
the cloudy olive oil and balsamic swirl you dip your pizza into
the dulled fall leaves still here in December as we ski
that bright smile that made me shield my eyes when I saw you under the lights, standing with your friends at the football game.
Maybe
the halo of frizz that crowned my head on that summer day, feet dragging in the sand
the hot sweat running while we run, hot pavement
or the reflection of the water in my eyes reflected in yours and reflected in mine and reflected in yours.
