Snow Fall
The snow from the saddened
grey clouds fall with a gliding of hope,
knowing that they will reach each other
and stick immediately
finding their best friend in an instant,
looking over cities and
below the feet on the wandering pedestrian
still searching in this cold paradise,
the crunch of each step telling a story of their own,
the pedestrian still searching for what the snow has,
a falling friend gliding through the piercing winds
to reach what they know the next restaurant,
the next job,
the next office,
finding in one day a companion that the snow has.
