A Flower's Beauty
Blooming slow
A beauty unseen
Colors erupt
And towards the sun they do lean
But as time passes faster
Their beauty does rot
As life becomes death
There they lay; left behind with barely a thought
Determined may they be
To rise once again
As they show to those that left
A flower's beauty which is found within
This piece can be seen in many ways. When I first started writing it I meant only to describe the life of a flower, but as I finished the last few words I found myself looking towards a new perspective. Instead of a flower being just a flower, it now sybolizes how reality can be. When others see your beauty they start to expect it and once its gone they throw you away. But the last stanza is meant to inspire you to pick yourself back up and show them once more your inner beauty.
