Be the light
In the darkness
Being swallowed by it
Sucking the air out of our reach
All this devastation
The world spiraling out of control
Walls are crumbling
Rocks are falling
But we are not broken
We are not weak
We will rise from the dust
This world may be dying
But we will not let it go like this
We will stand up
We will fight through this
Push away the hate and dust
We will be brave
Holding each others hands
We will be brave enough
Brave enough to reach out and see
See the light
To be the light
Show everyone kindness
Love
And hope
Show them that we care
Tell them, things will get better
If you are brave enough to hold my hand
We can walk towards the light
We can be the light together
Things will get better
They won’t be like they were before
But different
Different isn't always bad
A good different
This may be hard to believe
Right now
But if you try
If you see
If you be the light
Things will get better
