Reborn
A young girl at birth
With a large world ahead
Born with growing plight
And demons in her head
How will she be able to cope and fight?
She ventured off to find her rhythm
Within the sway of the trees
And ripples in the water
But the bottle and needle were the new revision
Her reservoir of fear tied gnarly ropes around her soul
And pulled her far into the abyss to lose her vision.
One here
Two there
There are no more loopholes ahead
In the depths of the night
Her body reached a final decision
The unification of body and mind decided to follow their own beat
The appreciation for the one who saved her once never died with her
The love she harbored never died with her
All of the good was interrupted,
But put up a good and short fight.
In the flick of a light switch,
Her demons were washed away on her journey to the spirit in the sky
When she reunited with her rhythm
She was reborn
A new lifetime of pure bliss
How could she ever resist.

I want someone to read this and gain something from it. There's a lot that comes with death of someone you are close to and love. Especially when addiction plays a part. When that day comes, peace is in the future.
