Sidelines
Sitting on the sidelines,
Waiting for my time.
Injury has left me benched,
So feelings of rage engulf me.
Save me Save me,
From this torture.
Don't leave me feeling sad,
I need not to be mad.
Help me help me,
Out of this cage.
See me see me,
Wading in the waves.
Drowning drowning,
In my cage,
Where I lie awake.

This talks about how I feel when I'm told I can't run because of my hip injury and how I want someone to save me. (Please don't fret, I'm really okay, don't call the crisis line!)
