I've given my all,

Pass the ball.

My shattered pieces,

All over the ground,

Form my fate,

Much too late.

Can you hear me?

Crying out,

Don't turn your back,

Not now.

Music makes me strong,

Take that away,

And I'll decay.

Everyone has a timer,

And mine has gone off.

The author's comments:

This talks about our life timers, how each of us has a time set, and one day that timer will go off, we just all have to realize that even if you aren't dying, that timer is still ticking.
