Her Own World
A black tea
A hint of apple and cherry
A cozy red sweater
In a house on the prairie
As she sits wrapped tight
In the candlelight
A leather journal open
As she wrote in the night
All her fantasies
All her dreams
Seemed so real then
But it’s not how it seems
For when she closes the journal
That moment comes to a close
Her magical world gone
The world only she knows

Hi, I'm Lisa! I wrote this in honor of my favorite season, fall, and my fantasy of simply being immersed in my world of writing, one of the moments when I feel happiest. I hope you enjoyed my poem!
