The Void Within
Looking inside of myself
I see nothing
Just a void
And as I stare at it, it expands
Swallowing me whole
I am lost in the darkness
But there, at the far end, I can see light
I run towards it, but it only grows farther away
And I give up

Most of the poems I write are reflections of myself, and this one is no exception. I've given up on a lot of things that I used to do, as I no longer have the energy or will to do them anymore.
