Glass
Kids like me,
Resemble glass,
One fall,
To make it all crack.
Our spirit,
Once wild and untamed,
Now is fragile,
Soft and lame.
Beyond the surface,
Of our hearts,
We still have that spirit.
A small spark,
Could get it back,
But glass is fragile,
And doesn’t last.

This gives another peek behind the curtain of my life telling you that fragile hearts once broken cannot be fixed easily.
