Fear
Deep in the woods I come face to face with a creature
that looks like hell on earth
I stair at it
The coyote stairs back
Its yellow glowing eyes leak a yellow substance
Its fur reeked of death and was covered in dirt and maggots
White foam dripped from its broken jaw that hung low
Fear
I could see its ribs and bones through its thin skin
fear
Its low muffled growl echoed through the silence forest
The hairs on my skin stood up as it limps forward
My breath became heavy as I turned around and ran
Fear
Never again will I go back to the cold darkness of
death that awaits in those woods
