i am not her
physically, emotionally
everything opposite of her
her name rolled off your
tongue like gold
dripping wet and valuable
am i not worth precious things
or does she praise
you to earn her keep
my heart sank slowly when
you said you were with her
your words had promised me that
i am something
to tell me of
my beauty and
show me my worth in
emeralds of words
precious but decaying
