Hello, we meet again

In the dark defending silence of my room

With no more distractions

I face the hole in my chest

All day and all night it's there

It’s become apart of me now

But They can’t know

My mom would worry more

She might try for therapy

My friends will treat me different

It’ll never be the same

If feels like the hole has taken away

All the colors of the world

The sky drained of its happiness

The trees blow in the wind

like sad broken dancers

Pretending it's not there

And going about the day

Is becoming harder

But I have to keep going

Keep moving forward

Even if it’s with

A hole in my chest

This is one of my last poems from my creative writing 1 class. It is a little dark but I like it.
