Sinking
If somebodys there,
This is a message,
To all who are like me.
Hearts aching,
Unable to say,
I’m not okay.
Pulses fading,
As the blows hit harder,
Unable to find the words,
To explain.
That I’m hurting,
And dying,
As the sadness sinks in,
Like quick sand I sink,
As I struggle to win.

Quick sand makes you sink to the ground and the more you struggle the faster it sinks you down, this is comparing this to the pain of depression.
