Lavender is lonely and isolated,

Like a disability to the human soul,

Truly destructive, harrowing and sad,

Epilepsy and 9 long years sealed our fate.

Lavender is lonely and blind,

Uncertainty on moms face,

Dads lost soul, me confused,

My brother is happy, lively, youthful, oblivious.

Lavender is lonely when hearing the words,

¨Iḿ sorry, itś epilepsy¨,

Strength overcomes, you find your voice, THE VOICE,

Until you hear, ¨ momma, I´m alright¨.

Lavender is lonely yet I can taste,

His desire to overcome,

He's so little yet so grown up,

My fears subside in his bravery.

Lavender is lonely yet intoxicating,

To fight through adversity still,

To have beaten one aspect and

Lavender is lonely no more.
