Pounding of rain, as the light sound of his blinkers turn on.
Pounding of rain, the sky flashes as they meet eyes; chocolate brown on ice blue, exact opposites but yet the right combination.
The pounding of rain is quieted by the pounding of her heart, thump-thump.
The pounding of rain races with her thoughts…
Why do I have this feeling with this boy I call my friend?
Pounding of rain but even though it is harsh, cold, and dark outside, the one beside her will keep her safely lit; like a small burning match in flooding, murky water.
Pounding of the rain like millions of bullets firing, but she glows with warmth and laughter in his presence.
