Ash
I like fire
It changes
It burns
It breaks
Like people do
When their heart
Breaks into
Gray papery
Pieces
Fluttering on
The updrafts in the air
It’s not a
Easy topic
Heartbreak
And yet we all
Experience it
When they leave
They leave you
In ashes
In a dying flame
A flame that
Burned so bright
One day and is
Flickering
Fading
Dead
The next
I like fire
But I like
Ash better
Ash is change
Ash is history
Ash is hardship
And you have to
Experience the
Ash to know
Why the flame
Why fire is so great
Why the fire is
So much
Fire is good
Ash is better

I got inspired by a Farhenheit 451, and the ideas of burning, blackening, ashes. I've always loved fire, and wanted to bring the change and heartbreak of fire into my work. I hope you like it!
