Ice and Snow
Our tale begins in a land of ice and snow
A most troubling tale of dice and woe
He struggled along in the mounting winds
To enter the place where he once sinned
He tripped and cursed; his cloak useless against the howling gale
He briefly pondered stopping and venturing beyond the pale
But there ahead laid salvation, and so he was drawn as a moth to the flame
To the place at which he could lay the blame
And there, in the darkness, he saw a pool of light
And so he continued, his body a pawn in a greater fight
