Tell Me I'm Your Midnight Muse
When did you become my muse
And will it ever not be you
Nine times out of ten
you're in my head again
But I know I'm not your muse
I want to write poetry at midnight with you
and wake up for kids cartoons on Saturday mornings
to dance in the kitchen at 3 am while we bake
and watch the stars after our first date
Tell me, tell me, am I your muse?
Do you think of me, tell the truth
What goes on inside your head
When you shut your eyes and go to bed
