An Ode to the Piano
Oh, my grandest piano!
I feel tingles in my fingers as they slip off your varnished ivory
My wrists break to produce a heavenly ascent into music,
And I would be willing to twist them against the pain for you.
A well-played piano could not be played by me,
But I would do whatever it takes to try so anyways,
And grace myself with your mesmerizing melodies.

I am a pianist, but not a very good one. Regardless, I love to play and I love to listen, and I want to share the feeling in my fingertips with the world.
