The Naïve Boy
A bun on top of his head,
Just sixteen months old,
the tiny toddler sat on a bike,
while his father patrolled.
In front of his robust dad,
he looked so minuscule.
The perfect portrait of naivety,
his parent’s precious jewel.
But snot was dripping from the baby’s nose,
and to his despair,
his father was completely unaware.
but, his mother would have known,
if only she was there.
